My name is Mao, and I have been working as a tattoo artist since 2019. From the moment I discovered tattooing, I have dedicated myself fully to the craft, constantly learning, creating, and exploring my own artistic direction.

Before becoming a tattoo artist, drawing had already been an important part of my life. With over 10 years of drawing experience, I have developed my own understanding of linework, composition, and visual balance. My work mainly focuses on Japanese-style tattooing and medieval engraving-inspired designs. I also enjoy exploring ways to combine traditional artistic elements with my own visual language to create distinctive and original work.

For me, tattooing is more than simply putting an image on someone’s skin. I want to understand each client’s ideas and create designs that work with their body, placement, and personal preferences. I enjoy the entire process, from the initial drawing and design to completing the final tattoo, and I hope every piece can carry something personal and meaningful for the person wearing it.

Looking ahead, I will continue to focus on tattooing and drawing, improving both my technical skills and design abilities while exploring new ways to create.
